You have to be fired or laid off to receive unemployment.

You may be eligible for unemployment if you quit your job under certain circumstances: your hours or pay is cut dramatically, a medical condition prevents you from preforming your job duties, you are in a hostile work environment, or in a dangerous/hazardous environment. I would advise you to contact you local unemployment office for further information.

What if you have moved from one state back to another having to quit the job that was currently held in the other state
