How can I check status of my unemployment claim?

You can check the status by going online or by telephone. I recommend going online becuase trying to cal, it is nearly impossible to get thru.

What's the point of using this system when you want to know the status on your unemployment check? I was informed 2wks ago that funds were issued to me and i still haven't rcvd anything and calling customer service isnt helpful at all

Unemployment benefits are subject to each applicants specific situation and can sometimes lag. Stay on top of calling, and don't be afraid to e-mail like crazy. I am currently going through the same. But I know they don't look at us as people needing answers so much as another numbered application. Its all about the contact, don't hesitate to get ahold of somebody.

So dose anyone know where to go to find out if you been approved or denied ? Where to go online or what # to call ?

I agree 100% with anonymous from 4/15/11...and all I have to add is apparently you cant be named as any better than anyone else when youre the one browsing the unemployment sites to be tough on and get your kicks...keep rockin anonymous from 4/5/11, hopefully someday soon you'll find your way.

I have lived in the state of Florida all my life have worked in this state for over 20yrs.I have been waiting on my unemploymemt claim for months almost out on the street dont make enough with current job to pay my rent. I took skills test filled have called call center no one knows and I guess they just dont care one thing is for sure americans come last.I hope they work out a great deal with Spain that is hurting with a 25% unemployment rate.Here in Florida those of us that have worked and lived in Florida all our lives dont matter to our elected/appointed leaders.We can expect NOTHING !
