How can I file an appeal for unemployment?

Which state do you live in? You should be able to file an appeal, to have your claim re-evaluated.

I had to file an appeal and basically you need to gather as much information to support your case. List all of the facts regarding your departure from your last job, gather all evidence needed to support your case, and tell your story to your state’s unemployment office. They will review your case and get back to you usually within 14 days. It’s a hit or miss so I wish you the best of luck. Just remember to have a much evidence as possible to support your case.

If you have a part time way of work, (self employed) after you have been laid off can you still collect unemployment. You are applealing the dicision made by edd what are your changes
