Now my question: I have moved back from another state and held a job for a 1 year and half and had to quit the job to move back. Can i stilll apply for unemploy till i find a job?

wrote me up twice in one month and he was about to write me up a third time. I had been doing the same things for 17 years without being written up for them. If I had been written up for the 3rd time it have permanently been in my file. I feel he was trying to get rid of me so I resigned to keep my name in good standing.

I was sick blood pressure was up and my right arm was swollen ! told manager on duty i wasnt goin to be able to work my shift she told manager over me i quit ! talked to my manager about my job she told me she was goin to put me on the schedule talked to her two weeks after still not being on the schedule she says she changed her mind!

I have a really stressful job as a dental assistant to the point where I’ve been having panic attacks, I also have sever back and neck problems from doing my job for the past 11yrs. I would love to quit and change my profession however I only have expeireance in dental assisting and would need to go to school to learn a new trade. I was on fmla cod acute a a a achilles tendinitis. The day I was to return to work I was hospitalized with respitatory failure and them pneumonia. Then I developed pulmonary edema. I am still under a dr’s care. I hAve been asked to step down from a supervisor to a third shift stocker. This job pays 1.20 less on the hour and totally humiliates me. Ifni quit can I draw unemployment?

i been working for a bank for 2 and a half years and i am pregnant and my doc said that it is a still to early to go on maternity. my boss is not understanding. i am 0n a high risk close eyed watch pregnancy. and he wont give the days i need . he purposly gives me days i dont need the opposite of wat i would need and told me he needs to kno a week in advance to get my days off so i told my doc that she said thats crazy but i started telling him a week or more in advance the days i needed and he got tired of that and now gives me only 3days of the week to work 5 hours a day and the days i dont need i am off … cana i leave and get unemployment

I mentioned to my boss in February about taking a trip to Brazil and possibly leaving by the end of March. I did not give a written notice, it was only verbal and not set in stone. He then stopped giving my full time 40 hours and was giving me 30. Three weeks later on a Friday at the end of my shift he called me in his office and told me that he could no longer afford to pay me and that today was my last day. I did not receive exiting papers or sign anything, nor did I receive my last paycheck. Can I file for unemployment? Even though I was going to quit, nothing was confirmed or written and signed.

I have worked for okdhs for the past 2 yesrs and they have been doing a lot of laying off. the job became so demanding in overtime hours for direct care staff and the supervisors became more demanding, adding your name for extra shifts without asking ,or your approval. assigning you to areas you are not primarily assigned to. the supervisors rude and demand you work on the night shift and thats not my normal shift i have 2 children at home that would have to be home alone if i worked the night shift. So i would volunteer on the day shift to get the overtime hours in needed. It didnt matter i was off for 5 days due to an illness came back and the supervisor told me i was working that night w/o asking me i refused and she became smart. i handed her a notice of quitting do i qualify for benefits

I think there is no harm in trying to apply for unemployment. My sister had to quit because she was not given the work or hours to even survive. For this reason, she quit and then filed for unemployment and was granted it.

I worked a job thru a staffing agency for just nearly 12 months… We were spouce to switch over to full time employees with the company after 90 days, but due to the economy the huge corperation put a hiring suspension on…. I became pregnant 6 months into my assignment and attempted to hang on to my position… Do to growing stress at the job and my gradual decline in health I quit my job… I’m still active as a temp/placement but the agency refuses to give me any job assignments due to my health and failure to complete my last assignment… I don’t know what to do I’ve been out of work since 2009 and no one will hire me now that I’m showing so much… I had attempted to prepare by putting aside a savings but with life happening it’s nearly all gone… I’ve never been in a position like this before so I am clueless… I have no idea if there is timely filing to get unemployment and if it’s even possiable if you volunteerly left your job… Please Help….

I was hired as a call center rep three years ago to do billing and tech support for a well known social network website. A year ago, my employer bought another website that show x-rated films. At that time, my call center job was shipped offshore to a call center in the phillipines, and my duties changed to dealing exclusively with the x-rated website. My previous job did include some adult content, but was mostly call center stuff, such as billing. Now all I do is watch pornography, truly, I name, describe and review x-rated films. I hate my new duties, grosses me out. I would like to quit. There are no other jobs available in this company, they just laid off eight people in my department for lack of work. I was forced to resign after being told there was a zero tolerance policy that I had never heard about before. Even tho the company said they had proof against me I was not allowed to see that proof. I was told to resign or be terminated for not working returned mail and supposedly shredding it. I DID NOT do this but could not prove it. My supervisor did not even know about it. A co-worker that I have had problems in the past with and the Human resource manager were the only ones who knew anything about the so called investigation. i been with my comphany for 4yrs i am being forced to resign because of childcare my and my husband work crazy hours my inlaws have been takeing care of the kids for us but there health has turned for the worst they are 75 and 80yrs old.
