You need to contact your local office or where you filed. It varies state to state and also is based on certain criteria (ie have you actively been looking for jobs).

I’m in California and I didn’t have to do anything for my get my claim extension. If they do need anything they’ll send a letter when they send your last check.
Other states are also automatically extending benefits because of the job rate. 2cents

I needed to file an extention and I do not have a job but because the ext. cut off was th 4/03/2010 and I still have only 129.00 left so I can not get an ext. what will I do I am single and a full time student and I need a job or my ext…..
