I have the same issue. I've been getting my check for several weeks and all of a sudden this week i didn't get one. I've tried many attempts to call with no success - HELP!

In Florida, I have not received my check for the weeks of Sept. 6th and Sept. 13th, 2009. Doesn't the unemployment offices realize the importance of this money to people who are trying to survive? They act like it is their money, and they can turn it on and off how ever they wish! If there is a problem with the computer systems or something, wouldn't it be courteous to let people who are depending on the money know? I hate this system, and I want out of it! We must start creating and filling jobs!!!

I filled for unemployment was denied went to the hearing with unemployment on 10/16/2009 @ approimately 10:20a.m. was suppose to start at 10:30, hearing officer treated me worst than my previous employment. which was for Discrimination the (POLICY 1010) for the (HCPSS) was violated and i'm still being held with out benefits, the hearing officer ask why didn't i transfer to another work environment i loved my job. but in this day and error you will be surprised that these unfair practices still goes on. been unemployed since 6/19/2009 seeking employment every day and the lord will bless me.

There was an issue in my weekly claim.

I was suppose to get my check last week on thursday & here it is monday & still no check. u can't get through to talk to ne one, they don't respond to email & it says that my check hasn't even processed yet! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!! times are hard and this is not the time to play around with people's money!

My unemployment was cancelled due to a mistake in the paper work in April and I was disqualified on my benefits. The mistake was straitened up and the unemployment office ruled in my favor, because it was their mistake. The only problem is that they still ruled me ineligible and I still remain disqualified because of their mistake.

I have been approved to get my money on 10/13/09 after an investgation that should never have taken place that held my funds for over 5 weeks unemployment owes me 5 weeks of payments the money is to be put in my account the fl.law statutes 443 said my benifits are payable where is my checks.

I have filed for unemployment on 09/27/09 in now its 10/21/09 in i haven't recieved a check from them and i have 4 children to take care with no income i pray to find a job soon cause this is crap.

I am a 26 year old family man and I have never filed for unemployment, untill now. My wife can't work because she is sickly and I have a 6 year old son who has a disability. Collecting unemployment and apparently letter was sent for a phone interview. Never got any letter and missed phone call. When I got thru to EDD 2 days later they said was getting a DE1080, which is typically a denial of benefits and has the right to appeal. Has anyone else ever not received notifications from EDD.

After playing the phone game to get to a rep....i was told that i have to wait an additional 7-14days for my money to be released..even though the claim rep told me tuesday that my money would be given to me on Thursday. You people are a joke. Why does it take days to get in touch with you people? I have sit for hours and let the phone ring and no one answers it or a recording will say the lines are busy and to call later.I guess no one is watching the store so you people can do whatever you want. No applicants are in the building to watch you to see if you people are doing your job. No one to stop you from taking long cigarette breaks and long lunches and not answer the phones especially near lunch and near quitting time. I am so scared. I was laid off and three weeks ago I had to file for unemployment for the first time in my life. I was informed via website that it would take up to 3 weeks to process the claim and I would receive back pay as long as I continued to file every week. Well, it's been three weeks and nothing has been directly deposited to my account, which was the option I chose.

I don't know how I'm going to pay my bills. My apt. lease is up the end of March and I don't know how I'm going to pay for the last two months of rent. Thankfully, I can move back in with my parents, but I don't know what's going to happen as far as paying for those final months.

I filed for unemployment in Texas for the period from Nov. 9 through Dec. 25. I have yet to hear anything and have only recently been given the name and phone number for the investigator who is supposed to make a determination on my case. When I check online, the message just states TWC is reviewing my claim to see if I can be paid any benefits. Good luck to all of us on getting anything because I hear that many states are broke and there is no money in the unemployment funds. I was told that Texas is denying many claims and making everyone appeal so they can stall on having to pay anything out. This is all ridiculous and no one seems to know anything or be able to help. I say we all complain to our state attorney general and see if that gets us anywhere!!!!

And sent the forms to fill out for the weeks off. And still no checks. I am behind on my bills. No food cause I have no money. Help please.

I have a question. I wanted to know when is my next check coming because I usually would get my unemployment check on every 5th and 19th of every month. But there seems to be a delay on the check that was supposed to be sent to me on the 19th of this month. The last check that i have recieved was on the 4th of January 2010.

Does anyone know when the claims for March 2010 will be paid in Maryland? I filed and received a letter stating "benefits are not being paid because you are monetarily ineligible", however, it also said that I need to file again after 3/20. Does anyone know what this means? I figured it might be because they have not received the money from the Feds for the latest extension but I'm not sure. Maybe I don't qualify for the latest extension but I don't know why it would tell me to continue to file if that was the case? Does anyone know if or when we will be getting paid????? I've searched and searched the internet for answers but all I can find is that the extension was approved but not when funds will actually be dispursed.
