I have been fired from my job 4weeks ago I filled for unemployment the day after I got fired and I havent recieved my paper sayin I have been aproved so I am still waitin so everyone else just stay cool it will take time and it will get to u soon.

I was suppose to receive my unemployment check by 1/5/10. I tried to file on 1/4/10 and the system rejected me. It said that I got a job and that is not true. Can you tell me what is going on with my benefits? If you could call me, so I can speak with you on the phone, I would appreciate it. I have been file’n for unemployment for about three weeks callin in every sunday around nine O’clock to have my weekly benfit check sent out to me every time i check the status of my check it says that my weekly benfit payment has been held while we investigate why you are no longer working. i was working for pizza hut but i was recently fired due to skip’n a mandatory meeting. when i was still working for pizza hut i was going threw Olsten Staffing a temp service to get a different job closer to home with better pay and benfits. as i’m going threw Olsten Staffing their company considers me as an employee but I’M NOT BE’N PAID FOR IT AT ALL!!!! I still have an active acount with Olsten Staffing they have put me on call back for any openings that they might have in the near future. I would greatly appreciate it if you would get in contact with me to let me know the status on my employment benfits Thanks Alot

I have tried to file my telecert, and after days of busy signals, receive message that does not allow me to file. I went in person to unemployment office, and was told to keep on calling, however no one answers the phone. Can you please callme in reference to my extended benefits? I had received a processing no. 3481853 that I waould be continuing to receive benefits.

My last day of work was on 11/21/2009. I have filed for unemployment that week, and have not received anything. On the Ohio Unemployment website, it states “PAY HELD” for the last 5 times I have filed. It is now Jan. 6, 2010 and still nothing. Every time I call the unemployment center, I wait for hours then get hung up on or get a recording stating “due to heavy call volume, we cannot take calls, goodbye”. Our rent was not paid in December, now it is late for January. Our water is getting ready to get shut off, also the electric and phone. Someone needs to contact me asap regarding this matter. I have called my employer and they said it has been filed correctly at their end. I have 3 children in our home and soon we will be homeless in freezing weather if no one takes care of my case. PLEASE I BEG SOMEONE AT THE OHIO UNEMPLOYMENT CENTER HELP US ASAP!

I would like to find out what is going on with my unemployment. I had a appointment for a interview yesterday,January 07,2010 at 10:30, which I did not receive a call. I filed for unemployment in Texas for the period from Nov. 9 through Dec. 25. I have yet to hear anything and have only recently been given the name and phone number for the investigator who is supposed to make a determination on my case. When I check online, the message just states TWC is reviewing my claim to see if I can be paid any benefits. Good luck to all of us on getting anything because I hear that many states are broke and there is no money in the unemployment funds. I was told that Texas is denying many claims and making everyone appeal so they can stall on having to pay anything out. This is all ridiculous and no one seems to know anything or be able to help. I say we all complain to our state attorney general and see if that gets us anywhere!!!!

You people are a joke. Why does it take days to get in touch with you people? I have sit for hours and let the phone ring and no one answers it or a recording will say the lines are busy and to call later.I guess no one is watching the store so you people can do whatever you want. No applicants are in the building to watch you to see if you people are doing your job. No one to stop you from taking long cigarette breaks and long lunches and not answer the phones especially near lunch and near quitting time. Is there a button or switch on your phones you can push so the phone will be on mute or activate the recordings
I am writing a letter to the governor and complianing about this. Something is going on at the unemployment office and I am going to find out what. You people do not care because as long as we have no job you people WILL HAVE A JOB.

I have a question. I wanted to know when is my next check coming because I usually would get my unemployment check on every 5th and 19th of every month. pissed i applied for unemployment and they needed med. statement, i recieved the paper work on a friday and they wanted it filled out by doc. and returned by monday.. docs office told me 4-6 day waiting period to fill out paper work i started calling on monday morning and didnt get a hold of anybody till wednesday to let them know i couldnt meet the dead line, now because my paper work was not turned in on time which was no fault of mine ,the a#* holes denied me benefits…. so i appealed it “what joke” on the day of my appeal my ex-employee shows up with a lawyer, a whitness, and herself ,,, now here is where the bull sh*# starts they actually turned this into a session on workers comp issues i was dumbfounded didnt know what to say except i thought this unemployment issue if i knew it ivolved workers comp. i would have came prepaired, so then cause i didnt have necessary paper work.the referee seem to side with my ex-employee, and there lawyer stated that there is no excuse for the med statementbeing late ,late is late it should have been turned in by deadline on letter…. i think this is a bunch off sh#* that the employees can turn stuff around make us look stupid and get away with it so they can get out of paying you whatis rightfully yours… i; ve worked since iwas thirteen and this is the first time i needed to use enemployment and the deny me ,WHAT A FRICKEN JOKE, WHY IN THE HECK SHOULD I HAVE TO CONTIBUTE TO IT IF I CANT USE,, THEY CAN ALL KISS MY A#* I DONT NEED THIER CHERITY
