i just got out of the army and i want to goto school full time but i have bills to pay. Can i file for unemployment?

My cousins mom has been unemployed since January. She has been receiving her check periodically. She notice for the past two or three checks that her daughter kept telling her,”your check is not in your pay card”. How can I tell my cousins moms about her check that it is already in without raising suspicion on my cousin that she signed and withdrawl her mom’s check with her knowledge?

I know a hispanic worker who got his unemployment within three weeks of filing and he is illegal, I dont understand why our country makes it so easy for illegals and so hard for american tax payers, expecially when our money goes back into our own economy and illegals send all there money back to there country.

hello i wants too no myself why is it taking so long for a appeal it didnt take that long for theme to denied me the first time I don’t understand why I was denied the first time anyway cause I was fired from my job…. The woman have issue she already had picks on who could be off, and who couldn’t. All I wants to no how long does it takes to get appeal the second time, I’m falling behind on bills this my first time every filling for unemployment and I’m was just wondering really it takes that long for an appeal..

im very confused i worked for this company for 2/12 years i understand i was late and was written up for it but i was working at 2 stores accross town and felt unappreciated at the first store i was working there since 11/08 till 4/24/2010 and so the first day becoming permanent at the other store they fire me because of a mistake they did on the schedule i think that is unfair . so unemployment denied my case and said that i was given a warning and they could fire me as they did so should i appeal it or is it a waste of time please help…!!!!

I was recently fired from my job after 8 yrs of service, I have never recieved unemployment before after hearing all of this i’m SCARED that I may not recieved mine……I will try and remain optimitic, and hope someone has some sympathy. I feel bad for everyone that has to go through this, it is not as if were taking something out of their banking acct, that they have to deny us, we have put in for time like this…I hope something good comes out of this for everyone in their situation including myself….

trying to get info on extension…why did it suddenly stopp without any notice as to why???? letter was sent out for 20 weeks of extension receieved 8 weeks then it just stopped!!!!! what happened

ive been receiving unemployment and exhausted my state benefits…i received a letter in the mail stating i received a 17 week federal extension, cool, i get it for 3 weeks and now nothing for 2 weeks straight? i call and certify each week, why am i not receiving checks? why is it when i try to call the claim filing service they just tell me they are unable to accept my phone call because of high call volume? WHY DONT THEY JUST HIRE SOME PEOPLE TO ANSWER THE PHONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am supposed to receive 27 more checks before I have to file for in extension. I was told today that Congress has stop the benefits and they have no further information as to when it will be paid. What is going on. How can Congress do this without prior notice. I have children and I’m living check to check. They have said nothing to prepare me for this. unemployment told me just to keep filing. And if they continue to pay I will receive retroactive pay. This is money owed to me. Congress needs to address and tell me something.

I went to claim my unemployment an when it came time to get it my account was empty.Does that mean my unemployment ran out? How do i find out if its over or not. Shouldn’t i have receavied a letter in the mail first to let me know.
